• Axis’ modular cameras are based on a divided network camera concept, where the camera is split into a sensor unit—made up of a lens and image sensor with a cable—and a main unit, which is the body of a camera. The divided concept allows for discreet installation in tight places. A small camera lens may be all that is visible externally.

     Axis’ current modular offerings are of two types. The first involves AXIS F Series, which provides compatible sensor units and main units that are sold separately to enable you to put together the ideal hardware combination for your needs. The second are complete modular cameras as offered by AXIS M2014-E, AXIS P12 and AXIS P85 Network Camera Series.
